Who we are:

We are a family owned business that represents Thermo King as the world leader in transport temperature control systems for trucks, trailers, marine, bus, light rail, and rail cars. We provide sales and service for refrigeration and heating equipment, air quality solutions, solar solutions and asset tracking/telematics. We provide 24/7 emergency service on Thermo King equipment.

Thermo King also manufactures diesel and electric auxiliary power units (APUs) which dramatically reduce engine idling, increase driver comfort, and extend battery life while reducing downtime.

About the role:

Essential Job Responsibilities:

· Provide outstanding customer service and greet customers coming into the service department.

· Answer incoming phone calls and pages/calls for “service”.

· Open all repair orders, including pertinent information relative to the repair.

· Communicate the status of repairs with customers and staff throughout the repair process.

We are currently seeking self-motivated individuals that are willing to learn and advance in the technical field of transport refrigeration repairs. No experience required however we prefer mechanical experience/aptitude. Technical school training is a plus but not required. We will train the right individuals. Come join our team.

Candidates must have or be able to learn the following qualifications:
• Conduct diagnostic procedures on transport refrigeration equipment and perform necessary repairs with limited supervision in a timely and efficient manner both a shop and mobile environment.
• Perform prescribed, routine maintenance procedures on transport temperature control equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Install transport temperature control equipment according to Thermo King Specifications in an efficient and effective manner.
• Maintain good housekeeping of work area and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Complete necessary paperwork to support dealership and corporate administrative requirements.
• Must have mechanical experience or attended tech school and maintain proper required tools to perform duties.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds and climb ladders/platforms.
• Be able to interact with customers and provide remarkable customer service to ensure a great experience for our customers.

Crete Carrier Corporation had one of their units in our shop and it was one of 5 Patriot Fleet trucks they operate. We were invited to have our veterans at our shop sign the truck. What an honor to have our names on this rolling memorial to veterans! We are proud of all of the veterans that are part of the TKCC team. Thank you to all veterans for your service!
