Meet Travis and Evan! One of the best parts about working at Gerald's isn't just the work, it's the friendships you build along the way. These two both live in Summerville and have become close friends while working together. They prove that sometimes your coworkers become some of your closest friends outside of work, too.

Some people spend years trying to figure out what they want to do. Colton always knew. From an early age, he wanted to become a mechanic, and today he's living out that goal by helping customers keep their vehicles safe and reliable. We love seeing that passion every day in the shop.

Matt's family keeps him busy in the best way possible. His youngest daughter has been playing football for the past six years and currently plays both middle linebacker and defensive end. Proving football isn't just for the boys! His 14-year-old son is already taking early college engineering courses, making their family proud in more ways than one. We love celebrating the accomplishments happening both inside and outside of Gerald's.

Dakota recently joined the Gerald's family after deciding it was time for a career change. Before coming here, he worked in landscaping but wanted to learn something new and challenge himself in a completely different industry. He says the training process has made the transition smooth, and he's especially thankful for John's guidance as he's gotten started. Welcome to the team, Dakota!

For the past 26 years, John has been part of the Gerald's family and has worked at every single Gerald's location over the years. Today, the family tradition continues with two of his sons, Alex and Ryan, working alongside him. John says it's the brotherhood, teamwork, and family atmosphere that have kept him here for more than two decades. His dedication has helped shape the culture that makes Gerald's such a special place to work.

One of Darien's favorite parts of working at Gerald's is never knowing what might roll into the shop next. He especially enjoys working on classic cars from the '60s and '70s because every vehicle has its own history and unique challenges. Outside of work, he's looking forward to taking a trip to California this October to spend time visiting friends and making new memories.

Honest work means doing the job right, not just telling you what you want to hear. 🔧

We’re proud to be the kind of shop that takes the time to actually inspect the problem, find the right solution, and treat every customer with honesty and respect.

This customer’s experience says it best. Thank you for trusting Gerald’s!

As a family-owned business, family has always meant everything to us. 🧡 That includes the incredible team members who keep Gerald’s going and the customers and communities who have supported us across the Lowcountry for more than 50 years.

We’re so thankful for this experience and for every person who has helped make moments like this possible.

We wouldn’t be here without y’all. 🏁

Gerald was working at Walmart and looking for an opportunity to build a career in the tire industry.

After moving to Charleston, he found that opportunity and never looked back. Today, one of the most rewarding parts of his job isn't just serving customers, it's training and mentoring new employees, helping them build careers of their own. Investing in people has always been one of Gerald's greatest passions.
