Well, conditions for the recent Sheriff's Cup offshore race were not ideal, but the party at Sea Island Yacht Club is always perfect! We want to congratulate the three brave crews who left the harbor and sailed into the North Edisto Inlet in spite of the wind and seas: Illyria, Alliance, and Kwinte.

Next up, the Spring Harbor Race tomorrow will be somewhat opposite conditions with warm temps and light breeze. We hope to see everyone out there for this windward/leeward warm-up for Charleston Race Week!

It’s that time!
Spring will be here before we know it, but there is still plenty of time to plan for an epic offshore sailing season!

The 2026 Ashley Yachts Offshore Challenge Series begins March 7th with our Spring Ocean Race. We’re excited for another incredible year of sailing (including a fun new “Full Moon Race”), and we hope you are, too!

It's always a fun time at our local wintertime show, the Charleston Boat Show. It was pretty cold this year, so we were very happy to be indoors! Now onto the Miami International Boat Show and a break from the unusual winter weather in SC- we hope to see you there!
