🔧 Tech Tuesday with Dawson: Fishing Line Behind Your Prop? Don't Wait! 🎣

A little fishing line can cause some big problems.

When fishing line gets wrapped around your prop shaft and thrust washer, it can work its way into the seals that protect your lower unit. If those seals become damaged, water can enter the gearcase and lead to costly repairs.

The good news? A quick inspection and early removal can help prevent major issues down the road.
