Thank you Charleston for 50 years and counting! On August 1, 1976, Werner “Turky” Burky went into the towing business on a whim when he needed to haul a car home from an auction. He purchased a wrecker from an old gas station and the rest is history. I was proud to acquire the business in 2014 and kept it going with the help of some of the best employees the industry has ever seen. Business ownership is hard and rewarding. My dad didn’t tell me how to do it…he lived and let me watch. From sleeping on a warm floorboard under the seat of an old International when Dad woke me up to go on a tow call in the middle of the night when I was a kid to sitting behind a desk every day as the owner…I’ve loved every minute and can’t wait for more years to come! ❤️🖤🩶
