Greenie used to be a step side farm truck. It stayed parked in a barn stall until a trip to Co-op or the saw mill was called for. A few special people were granted unlimited use of it with the only requirement being "Don't hotdog it." By today's standards the 283c.i. Corvette V8 isn't much, but it's still close to double the HP of the original straight six, and shifting the "three on the tree" has become a theft deterrent. The only constant in life is change, even for Greenie. The air suspension, 22" wheels and tires, service bed, and ladder rack all increase SPG. These changes don't affect MPG, but if you're worried about MPG you probably drive something boring anyway. Smiles Per Gallon FTW.
