Dad had always dreamed of opening up an automotive repair shop, and shortly after we moved to Irmo from Tennessee in 1992, he started to build a business plan and scope out areas around Columbia. At the time that we moved here, Dad was working for UPS as district manager overseeing the maintenance of the large fleet of trucks that UPS had. While out riding with one of his drivers they passed throu
gh the Town of Chapin. Dad knew immediately that this was where he wanted to open his shop and call it home. The tolls of the corporate world was wearing on him, and he didn't want to have to move our family of 6 again. In 1997, we broke ground and built this business from the ground up. In August of 1997 we finally opened our doors to the Chapin community. We could not be happier with the location choice, as we now call Chapin home. This is a great community to be involved with and to provide service to. I now have 3 kids of my own, and my wife and I feel so blessed to be part of such a wonderful community to raise our kids in.
