We are heartbroken by the passing of James Spurling.

After selling Eastgate BP to our family, James went on to serve as the Director of Kenan Stadium at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he continued to lead with integrity, dedication, and quiet strength.

James was more than a respected professional—he was a dear friend and a genuinely good man. The Rahimtoola family, UNC, and the Chapel Hill community have lost someone truly special. His impact will be felt for years to come.

Please keep his family and loved ones in your prayers. He left us far too soon and will be deeply missed. Danial Rahimtoola

Our company is currently seeking an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. Ideal candidates must hold a valid North Carolina driver’s license and/or CDL. Experience in customer service, roadside assistance, and operating various towing equipment is required. Primary duties include but are not limited to assisting customers with tire changes, transporting customers to nearby garages, or towing vehicles which may or may not be operable. At Ram’s Eastgate BP, INC. Customer service is a priority, and the ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills. Tow Truck Driver Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Respond to accidents, breakdowns, or other roadside incidents as needed
Stay in contact with outpost while in the field.
Communicate with customers as needed.
Perform basic repairs.
Provide towing services.
Operate in a safe and productive manner.
Keep all equipment and vehicles in clean and good condition.

Tow Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications include but are not limited to:

Valid North Carolina Driver’s license
Valid Commercial Driver’s license
At least 1 year of commercial driving, roadside assistance, and customer service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to manage time wisely.
The ability to operate in a high impact environment.
Basic mechanic skills
The ability to operate safely and efficiently without supervision.
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift, push, pull, move 50+ lbs
