🇺🇸 Never Forget — September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless families and loved ones forever changed by that day.

We remember the heroes who ran toward danger while others were running away — the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember. We still honor. We still grieve.

May we never forget the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the strength and unity that followed.

God bless those we lost. God bless their families. And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

07/02/24 Lake Palestine Fishing Report

🎣 Current Conditions: Fishing is good to excellent across Lake Palestine right now, with crappie, catfish, and bass all active and feeding.

🌤️ Weather & Water Conditions

Wind: Light southwesterly around 6 mph — ideal for fishing and keeping bait presentation natural

Moon Phase: Full moon, often boosts feeding activity

Water Level: Near normal at about 0.15 ft below pool

Water Temp: Around 81°F

🐟 Species Reports

Crappie: Good in 8–16 ft on brush, timber, and boathouses. Hand‑tied jigs and minnows are producing steady limits.

Catfish: Excellent in 3–12 ft using cut bait or punch bait. Blue cats are especially active.

Bass: Good around boathouses, vegetation, and the backs of creeks.

📍 Best Areas to Target
Above the Hwy 155 bridge, Highsaw and Ledbetter arms, Kickapoo and Neches River arms, and Flat Creek.
Brush piles and boathouses continue to be prime structure for crappie and bass.

The full moon may increase feeding activity, especially for crappie and catfish.

Crappie: Brush/timber & boathouses

Catfish: 3–12 ft with cut or punch bait

Bass: Backs of creeks & boathouse areas
