Section 179 may let your business deduct the cost of a qualifying new or used truck in the year you put it to work. For tax year 2026:

✅ Section 179 limit: $2,560,000 (phases out above $4,090,000)
✅ The truck must be used for business more than 50% of the time
✅ It must be placed in service by December 31, 2026
✅ 100% bonus depreciation is also available for qualifying property acquired after January 19, 2025
