As July comes to a close, we can’t help but reflect on what an incredible month it has been here at Salt Lick Cove Campground. 🇺🇸

As we celebrated America’s 250th Birthday, we were reminded just how thankful we are for this great nation, the freedoms we enjoy, and the opportunity to bring families and friends together to make memories that will last a lifetime.

To every camper, guest, family, volunteer, and friend who spent time with us this month—THANK YOU! You made July one for the history books, and it’s a month we’ll never forget.

🇺🇸 WOW… What a July 4th Weekend at Salt Lick Cove Campground! 🇺🇸

What an incredible weekend celebrating America’s 250th Birthday! ❤️🤍💙

From our morning Coffee Club and fellowship, to delicious food, an unforgettable Glow Party, sparklers lighting up smiling faces, an amazing fireworks show, our Slip ‘N Slide Kickball Tournament, Movie Night under the pavilion, s’mores around the fire, and wrapping it all up with our Sunday Morning Non-Denominational Devotion… every moment was one we’ll never forget.

Most importantly, YOU made it special.

To everyone who camped with us, volunteered, helped behind the scenes, brought food, laughed with us, celebrated with us, and simply chose to spend your holiday weekend at Salt Lick Cove—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This was a completely SOLD OUT weekend, and seeing families making memories together is exactly why Salt Lick Cove Campground exists. Watching old friends reconnect, new friendships begin, children playing, and families gathering reminds us that this campground is so much more than campsites—it’s a family.

Today we celebrate the birth of our great nation and the freedoms we are blessed to enjoy every day.

To the brave men and women who have served our country, and to those who continue to serve today—thank you. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication make our freedom possible. We are forever grateful for all you have done and continue to do to protect this great nation.

As families gather around campfires, enjoy the beauty of Weiss Lake, and watch fireworks light up the night sky, may we all take a moment to remember those who have defended the American dream.
