Ever wonder what the baffle inside a inflatable boat tube looks like? Many owners don't understand how pressure in one chamber can drop when another chamber has a leak. As you can see, these baffles are quite large and not just a flat wall dividing the chambers. So as these move from pressure drop it can appear as if multiple chambers have lost air when in fact it is only the baffle moving.

Quite often, we get boats brought in for repair after the DIY repair has failed. Then comes the question: what did i do wrong?
There are many contributing factors to repair failures. High humidity,Improper surface preparation, improper materials, too much adhesive and the wrong temperature can all cause repairs to fail. There is a lot more to it than just brushing some glue on then slapping on a patch. We're happy to offer advice on repairs for those who can't get their boat to us for service.

It's Time for something different. Our shop Zodiac Hurricane is available for sale. This 22' former Navy rib has gone through an extensive overhaul since arriving. Over the time we have had it almost everything has been replaced. Currently powered by a Suzuki DF 200 with only 14 hours. Call or email for full details.
