Black cars are so deceiving and they lure you in with their beauty when they’re clean and polished. Then the bait and switch happens: dirt, salt, scratches, water spots, and bird p**p etching. It is inevitable.

All of this was addressed on Susan’s Macan yesterday and even though the pollen and rain are going to make a mess of it, for one brief moment, black looks good again. Thanks Rob for trusting me with the fleet!

Yesterday was a beautiful day to be cleaning something, and for me that something was Rob’s 996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4. The Porsche nerds know what they’re looking at but for everyone else…you’re looking at a car that clean inside and out and ready to be used…or stored. 😂

Rainy days don’t stop me from cleaning, but they do stop me from taking photos outside. Tommy’s Model S got its yearly spring cleanup to ensure its Paint Guard is looking its best. Here’s hoping for some sunny days…thanks Tommy for the continued support!

Detailing season is officially here, although the rain isn’t making it comfortable.

Big thanks to Braudy for bringing their former family hauler in for a Basic Wash and a Basic Interior to prep the Honda Pilot for selling. I also did a very basic headlight restoration, which always helps make a car look newer.

Vehicle number two from my parents is all done! Oil change, tire rotation, cabin filter, wipers, wash, polish, wax, tire coating, glass coating, and interior cleaning: a great refresher on a low mileage Passat, just in time for winter.
