We have an exciting update to share with the TLCA community!

Effective immediately, Steve Pryor has been appointed (and has agreed) to be the new Chair of Rubithon. Steve is a longtime Rubithon attendee who has guided the Wagon Run for many years. He has also served on the Live Like Lash Committee, represented Battle Born Cruisers on the TLCA Board of Directors, and, along with his wife Andrea and their entire family, has been an active and valued part of TLCA for years. We can’t think of a better person to carry forward the legacy of Rubithon.

We also want to extend our sincere thanks to Jeff Greenwood for his dedication and leadership over the past two years. His time, effort, and commitment have helped make Rubithon a success, and we truly appreciate everything he has done for TLCA and our members.

We’re excited about the future and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Rubicon Trail for Rubithon in 2027. More information will be coming soon, and we hope you’ll join us for another incredible year!

Lash Lacoste passed away in 2022 after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was deeply loved and was a vital part of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association community, serving on the Board of Directors for CottonLand Cruisers. Thanks to the generous support of TLCA chapters and members, this scholarship fund was established in his honor to support the next generation of TLCA.

The scholarship established in Lash Lacoste’s name is unique. Lash wasn’t a straight A student. He earned mostly Bs and Cs in high school and college. Many scholarships focus on top academic performers, leaving fewer opportunities for students who don’t fit that mold. This scholarship is intended for students with a B or C average who, above all, demonstrate the same character and qualities that defined Lash’s life.
