With the few warm days we have approaching, please wait to water your batteries. As long as the acid is over the plates inside your batteries, we still have some very cold nights and you may not be able to drive it enough to turn the water into acid.

*Remember when you take your cart out of winter storage;
1. While still in tow, reconnect your main positive and main negative. Make sure they are hand tight. Check all other terminals.to make sure they are tight. Also, if your terminals are dirty wipe them down and spray a little battery terminal protector on them.

2. Check your acid levels in your batteries. If the acid is covering the plates just wait to add water. We are still having some below freezing temps at night.

3. Check your tire pressure. Make sure all your tires have the same air pressure.

4. Grease your front end. Clunks and other steering issues can be prevented with a little grease in the grease fittings.

5. BEFORE you drive it, charge your cart completely!!!!The gauge is not going to be accurate yet.

6. BEST thing to do for your cart right now is to cycle charge it. It's been sleeping all winter. Everyday that you drive it, plug it in at night. Do this a dozen times and you will see your run time get better.

*Important*

When it's time to water the batteries we always;

1. Charge it completely first.

2.When touching the batteries we always turn it on tow. Fill the batteries with water to just under the vent neck.

3. Drive it until your low on charge. Driving it will turn the water into acid. Over filling or adding water before charging it will only make it boil all over the place. Makes a huge mess.

If your taking your cart out of winter storage, make sure after you reconnect the main negative and main positive to charge it completely before driving it.

If the acid is over the plates in the batteries cells, wait yet to complete your spring Maintenance. The nights can be cold and you may not have driven it enough to turn the water into acid yet.
