Park Cedar Rapids

Park Cedar Rapids Park Cedar Rapids is committed to providing a positive parking experience for patrons of downtown Cedar Rapids. www.parkcedarrapids.com

On April 1, 2011, the City of Cedar Rapids turned over management of the downtown parking system to the Cedar Rapids Downtown District. While the City of Cedar Rapids retained ownership of the parking facilities, including ramps, surface lots and the on-street metered parking spaces, the Downtown District is now responsible for setting public policy related to the system’s operation. The transfer

of system oversight from the City to the Downtown District was the first of six “Primary Action Items” outlined by the Parking Strategic Action Plan, which was unanimously approved by the Council on April 27, 2010. The plan is focused on supporting the economic development goals of downtown and will serve as the roadmap to revitalization of the system.http://parkcedarrapids.com/pdf/strategic-plan-full.pdf

Kingston Yard Ramp is now open! Like all ramps, payment is due on arrival 24/7. No permit parking allowed on the ground floor. Visitor parking (with payment) throughout the ramp.

📢EXCITING NEWS!!🥳

The new Park Cedar Rapids Kingston Yard Ramp will be open this evening!!

Entrance: Located on the south side of the facility, accessed from 2nd Avenue SW. Upon entry, all vehicles must execute an immediate left turn to enter the one‑way circulation pattern

Hourly parkers must submit payment upon arrival. A one‑hour grace period is provided to allow parkers time to locate a stall and complete the payment process. Citations for non‑payment will not be issued during this one‑hour window. The hourly rate for this location is $0.75/per hour. Event rates apply as posted.

Level 1 (Ground Level): Reserved exclusively for hourly parkers, but you make park on any level. Monthly parkers must park on Level 2 or higher. Do not park in Reserved stalls unless you are explicitly authorized to use them.

Parking is not permitted in fire lanes, striped safety
zones, marked No Parking areas, ADA stalls without proper credentials, or permit‑restricted areas without the appropriate permit. Temporary restrictions will be identified using cones and posted signage.

EV charging stalls are reserved strictly for vehicles actively
connected to the charging equipment. Charging rates increase over time to promote turnover and allow multiple parkers access to the EV stations. Charging rates are separate from facility parking fees - you must pay the parking rate and the charging rate. 1-4 hours of charging = $1.25hour ; 5-8 hours of charging = $3.00/hour.
