Project Grumpy Old Van update. Front end is out and fine tuning the ride height. 4” drop in the front, 3” in the rear. This is a critical step. If you don’t have the right stance (tires, rims, rim offset, rake, turning radius) then even an expensive paint job won’t make it look right. Was having a hard time visualizing rake with all the rust holes, so I improvised and used some cheap painters tape to give it a solid look on the bottom half.

Time to start designing the MII IFS and Triangulated 4-link.

Today we are bending 1” tubular dom for lower control arms. Check out the thickness of metal, 3/16” wall. We list it on all our parts. Our competitors use weaker steal, but you can’t see it after welded. Make sure you ask them if you order from someone else!

It’s an addiction. Look for a MII kit for first generation Econolines late winter or early spring!
