How to help us stay on track with appointment times.
Summer is already a busy time for us. Add in the new changes in the tint laws and the influx of new customers from the data center and we are even busier.
As a reminder, we are appointment based only. We tint multiple vehicles a day. We schedule the times based on the information provided to us by the customer. A delay with one appointment throws everyone else’s appointment times off schedule.
As much as we would like to give you an exact finish time, it’s just not possible. We can give you an estimate but multiple barriers can come up that add additional time to an install.
Sometimes it is due to a customer, sometimes it’s the vehicle itself, sometimes we aren’t happy with our work and may need to redo a window. We want to send your vehicle back to you with our highest quality work. We won’t rush just because the clock is ticking.
Things you as a customer can do to help:
⚫️Please drop off on time (we have a handy key drop right inside the front door if you want to leave your vehicle earlier than your appointment time)
⚫️Please be honest about your vehicle’s condition. If it needs a tint removal before the new tint gets installed, we must know this. It’s an additional charge and adds additional time to the job. (Sometimes old tint comes off easily, sometimes it has to be removed in tiny pieces)
⚫️Please come with a clean car interior. If we are doing your back windshield, we need to be able to safely climb into that back seat to install the film. Same with front seats. If we have to clean out the car, this adds additional time (if you drop it off with child safety seats make sure you reinstall before putting your child back in as we are not experts in child safety seat installation)
⚫️Have a plan while your vehicle is with us, we do not have a waiting room. If you absolutely have no way back to your home or work after dropping off your vehicle, let us know prior to your appointment time and we may be able to arrange a ride for you.
⚫️We love chatting with our customers but please stay out of the work bay. We are not insured to have customers in the work bay during an installation. There is exposure to chemicals, liquid and tint film on the floor that may cause slips, and razor blades & heat tools all around the space while an install is being performed. Worrying about a customer’s safety or having them try to chat while we are installing does not allow us to fully pay attention to detail and can impact our safety as well. This can also add additional time to an install.
⚫️Please allow for additional time as unexpected things can come up. The install before yours ran over. The old film may not remove as easily as we’d hope. Door panels on some vehicles take longer than others to remove, the weather can also come into play as to how materials will stick (or not…). We might also redo a window if it isn’t up to our standards. We want to send our highest quality work out.
Thank you for selecting us. We look forward to being your local auto tint installer!
