Meet David Lee, a valued Wash Bar customer—and proud UNI alum! 🐾💜

David’s 1930s Model A, affectionately known as “Willis,” isn’t just a classic car—it’s a piece of family history.

David purchased Willis with his father in 1968 for just $150, starting a father-son project that would create memories lasting more than five decades. His father worked on Model A’s, and they both shared a love for classic cars and the time they spent working on them together.

Today, David continues to care for Willis and share his story with fellow car enthusiasts. After a little interior refresh at The Wash Bar, Willis is ready to hit the road to the Amana Colonies for a car show this weekend! 🏆🚗

Meet David Lee, a valued and loyal Wash Bar customer who brought his beloved “Willis,” a 1930s Model A, in for an interior cleaning today before heading to the Amana Colonies for a car show this weekend!

David purchased Willis in 1968 with his father for just $150—roughly $5,000–$6,000 in today’s dollars. What started as a father-son project became something much more meaningful. David’s father worked on Model A’s, and the two shared a love of cars and the time they spent working on them together.

More than 50 years later, Willis is still turning heads—and carrying a pretty special piece of family history with him. ❤️
