Each year the Cave City Watermelon Festival invites you to "come home" for family, friendship, and fun. With a parade, live entertainment, crafts, food, games for all ages, antique tractors, a car show, and much more, there is literally something for everyone. Since 1980, we have been celebrating our town and its rich history of producing the world’s sweetest watermelons. The festival has prospere

Correction 🍉

Yesterday a story aired on Region 8 regarding the watermelon festival. Phillip was interviewed. The report incorrectly reported that we give 400 melons to the festival. That is NOT correct. ALL of the growers give 400 combined! It’s a group effort! We are sorry for any confusion this may have caused. ✌🏻❤️🍉

🚌🚋 FREE SHUTTLE OPTIONS DURING the 46th Annual Cave City Watermelon Festival! 🍉

We've made it easier than ever to enjoy everything the festival—and Cave City—has to offer!

🚌 Festival Park & Ride Shuttle

Skip the parking hassle and ride our FREE Festival Shuttle between Cave City High School and Cave City Park.

📍 Pickup: Cave City High School
📍 Drop-Off: Cave City Park.

The shuttle will run on a continuous 15-minute loop during the following times:

Friday, July 24
🕓 6:00 PM – 10:45 PM

Saturday, July 25

🕦 11:30 AM (following the parade) – 11:00 PM

⚠️ Please Note: The last shuttle departing the festival for Cave City High School leaves at 10:45 PM on Saturday. If you're riding back to your vehicle, be sure you're ready to board before the final departure.
