Hemphill's Healey Haven

Hemphill's Healey Haven Austin Healey Parts. New, NOS, Used parts for complete restorations. Hard to find parts. Donald Healey also visited their shop several times in the 1970's.

Hemphill's Healey Haven was established in 1974 by owners Gary Hemphill and Paul Bowen. Paul and Gary traveled several times to the UK and met with Donald Healey at his home in Cornwall. Paul Bown left Hemphill's Healey Haven in 1981 and Gary went on from there, publishing a 110 page catalog of all the Healey parts that Gary kept in inventory. In 2010 Hemphill's Healey moved across the parking lot

to a much larger shop. This shop is more suited for not only the parts business but also repairs. The new shop phone is 410 788 0530. The new Shop address is 10 D Winters Lane Catonsville, Maryland 21228. Gary Hemphill, owner of Hemhill's Healey Haven Ltd, graduated from Elon College ( now Elon University) in 1970. Following Elon, he went into the Navy as an Ensign, where he served on an amphibious ship. Between 1972 and 1974 he ran his family welding business in Catonsville, know as Colonial Metalcrafts. It was during this time he became interested in the Austin Healey 3000 and began working on them in the welding shop. This is where he met Paul Bowen and they decided to start a business specializing in The Austin Healeys, as well as other British Sports cars. Fast forward to 2017, Hemphill's Healey Haven is still in business and still selling parts, as well as repairing & restoring British sports cars. We are starting to downsize and will begin liquidating a large quantity of used Austin Healey, MGB, MGC, Sprite, Midget and Triumph parts. Some of which have been in dry storage for over 40 years. This process is currently underway with the cleaning out of the famous "catacombs". Anyone who has ever visited the shop and the catacombs will realize the scope of clearing out such a huge inventory of British car parts. Hemphill's Healey Haven Ltd will continue to supply quality Austin Healey 100, Austin Healey 100/6 and Austin Healey 3000 new parts. Please contact us for your needs. I would have liked to have bought one, new in box, but they were out of my reach when new. In 1966, I bought my 1st Healey for $50.00 and drove it home. It was a tattered 1957 Longbridge 100/6.

Speaking of AI, my buddy surprised me with this. Actually, none of the "steampunk art" is done at the Healey shop.

Another couple old photos. The photo with the Bugeye and Healey is probably 1957 or 1958, would be my guess. I love the rally car with the side pipes and the knobby tires.
