Some may wonder why the name Elmer's. Clint has always loved old time garages and good old fashion, honest service.
So, he wanted a good old fashion name.
This is Elmer. Elmer Brown was my Grandfather. They moved to Ashland when my Mom was around 7 years old from Ezel KY. My Grandad and Meme, Alma Brown aka the Avon Lady, had a service station/ restaurant in Ezel and sold it to follow their church to Ashland.
Elmer was a good Christian man. He worked at Golden Oaks Cemetery before getting hired at Ben Williamson where he became an outstanding outside salesperson selling over $2 million in supplies in just one year around 1980. His selling success allowed him to invest in rental properties in Boyd Co, hence my Mom and Dad following in his footsteps.
Both my grandparents were very ambitious sales people that were loved by all that knew them. It is a blessing to be able to honor his name and hopefully make him proud of our little service repair shop!
