What a night at Spoon River Speedway in the JR2 class!

🏆 Brock Russell brought home the WIN in his Footloose Racing Chassis!
🥈 Lainey Bolton drove her Footloose Racing Chassis to an awesome 2nd Place finish!

🔥🏁 WHAT. A. WEEKEND!! 🏁🔥

Our girl Hollis #717 absolutely gave it her ALL this weekend!! 💪❤️

This was her FIRST EVER time racing at Lake City Speedway AND her FIRST EVER driving in the Red Plate class with a Clone motor!! 🤯👏

She came in ready to learn, got those first-race jitters out during practice, found her racing line, battled through the dust 🌪️😎 and even a dirty visor! She learned so much about wheel control in those fast corners (thanks to the crazy on-again, off-again rain all day! 🌦️😂).

Then came qualifying… and WOW!! 🚀 She laid down a FAST lap and qualified 3RD out of 6! 🥉🔥

Next came a long rain delay… 🌧️⏳ She was nervous she might not even get to race. But when the track finally went green again… IT WAS GAME ON!! 🟢🏁

Before the feature she told us she was going to do everything she could to prove she could get to the front… and BOY DID SHE EVER!! 💥💨

She drove her heart out ❤️,stayed smooth, stayed focused, and absolutely KICKED BUTT!! 💪🏎️🏁

🏆 HOLLIS BROUGHT HOME 2ND PLACE!! 🥈🎉🙌

We couldn’t be more proud of her for stepping into a brand-new class, learning a new motor, pushing through every challenge, and keeping such an amazing attitude all day long! ❤️👏 The future is bright for this young racer! 🌟
