Employee Spotlight: Rafael Rodriguez
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Rafael Rodriguez, our Pre-Owned Vehicle Buying Manager
Rafael has been in the automotive industry for 20 years, bringing an incredible amount of experience and knowledge to our team.
Rafael’s job is to help stock our lot with the best, highest-quality pre-owned vehicles that meet the needs of our dealership and our customers. His previous training and experience as a buyer allows him to identify quality vehicles and avoid vehicles with major concerns, including those with previous issues.
During the week, Rafael monitors our inventory levels to determine what we need on our lot and searches multiple auction venues and other sourcing opportunities to find the right vehicles. He attends physical auctions 3–4 times a week, looking for vehicles that customers are searching for while making sure we’re getting them at the right price.

One of the biggest misconceptions about selling a vehicle? That the process is going to be long and complicated. Rafael’s goal is to make the process simple, easy, and hassle-free.
When he’s not busy finding our next great pre-owned vehicle, Rafael enjoys spending time with his wife and their three kids. He has two children in high school and one attending the University of Houston — Go Coogs! 🐾
And if he could take any vehicle currently on our lot home? His answer is the new Ram 1500 with the new HEMI engine. His reasoning? “You have to experience it yourself. It sounds great when you start one up!” 🔥
