Help us find our next great tech! Recently we posted looking for help, and you shared our post and spread through word of mouth. That worked and we hired a new tech to help us keep up with all the tire mounting, fluid services and general service requests.
We are now looking for an experienced 'B' tech to join out team!

Automotive Performance & Chassis is an independent shop that provides high quality repair, upgrade and maintenance services to customers who want more from their cars than just a way to get to work and back. We provide a full range of mechanical services from timing belts, clutches, differential rebuilds, brake and suspension upgrades to AC and electrical repairs, spec alignments, ride height adjustments, corner balancing. We routinely work with customers that bring us their daily driver as well as their track cars.
What you’ll be doing most of the time:
Diagnosing performance and drivability issues on a wide range of vehicles, conduct consistent multi-point mechanical inspections and provide an accurate list of needed repairs.
Accurately and efficiently complete repairs to brakes, suspensions, steering, powertrain, AC & cooling systems.
Perform complex repairs – gear and bearing replacements in differentials, clutch replacement, engine timing belts, water pumps, transmission and engine swaps and more.
HVAC service, repair and diagnostics
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience across most makes and models
Must be able to accurately diagnose vehicle issues through a combination of testprocedures, use of scan tools and deductive reasoning; ASE certifications a plus
Ability to accurately estimate work, predict and mitigate risks; be a resourceful problem solver
Displays positive and open communication, good team work and pride in workmanship
Demonstrates a high degree of honesty and integrity – proactively reports mistakes and damage, is empathetic to customer.
Provides own tools including some specialty tools, air and cordless tools
MUST have a clean driving record
The ideal candidate is passionate about cars and has built or customized their own vehicles in significant ways to improve performance and capability and likes to see and work on a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate is capable performing complex jobs and works to complete jobs in a timely fashion with a high degree of quality.
Prior welding and minor fabrication experience a plus but not required.
