Widrick Truck & Diesel Service is looking for a Service & Office Coordinator to join our growing team!
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused position responsible for helping keep our service department and office running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, personable, comfortable with computers, and able to multitask in a busy environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Answer phones and assist customers
Schedule appointments and coordinate customer needs
Build estimates and repair orders
Communicate with warranty companies and process warranty claims
Order parts and assist with inventory management
Process invoices and customer payments
Communicate with technicians, vendors, and customers
Assist with general office and service department operations

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong customer service and communication skills
Positive attitude and professional demeanor
Organized and dependable
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using computers or willing to learn
Valid NYS driver's license
Automotive experience is preferred but not required
Previous customer service, office, parts, or service advisor experience is a plus
We are willing to train the right person! A good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are more important than knowing everything on day one.

Today is a tough one at Widrick Truck & Diesel.

After 5 years, today was Terry Eakins’ last day with us.

Over those five years, Terry has worn just about every hat we could throw at him. He’s worked as a service advisor in both automotive and heavy-duty, adapted to changing roles, taken on new challenges, and somehow managed to survive the chaos that comes with working at a shop that never seems to slow down. 😂

And if you’ve been around Widrick for any length of time, you know that the last five years have brought A LOT of change. We’ve grown, expanded, taken on new challenges, added new services, dealt with the occasional “how are we going to pull this one off?” situation—and Terry was right there through it.

He played a huge part in helping us stabilize and grow during a very important chapter of this company.

Terry has always had a way of adapting to whatever was thrown at him. Automotive? He handled it. Heavy-duty? He learned it. Crazy setbacks? Somehow still smiling. Completely unexpected problem at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon? Well… we’ll leave those memories between Terry and the service counter. 😂

But beyond the job itself, Terry became an important part of the Widrick family.

Five years is a long time. There are countless conversations, laughs, stressful days, victories, mistakes, inside jokes, and memories that simply can’t be captured in a Facebook post.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, effort, patience, and dedication Terry gave to this company. More importantly, we’re grateful for the person he was here.

Terry is moving on to his next chapter, and while we’re definitely going to miss having him around, we’re excited to see what comes next for him. We have no doubt he’ll take the same adaptability, work ethic, and experience with him wherever he goes.

Terry — thank you for everything you’ve done for Widrick Truck & Diesel over the last five years.

Automotive Technician Wanted

Widrick Truck & Diesel Service

Widrick Truck & Diesel Service is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong diagnostic abilities and the skillset to perform both routine maintenance and complex repairs on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.

Responsibilities:

* Perform accurate diagnostics on domestic, import, and light-duty diesel vehicles
* Complete routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and preventive maintenance inspections
* Perform brake, steering, suspension, and driveline repairs
* Diagnose and repair engine performance and drivability concerns
* Complete advanced repairs including timing component replacement, engine repairs, engine replacements, and other major mechanical repairs
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Document repairs and findings accurately

Qualifications:

* Previous automotive technician experience required
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to perform repairs independently from start to finish
* Valid driver’s license required
* New York State Inspector’s License preferred, but not required
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality workmanship
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Tim is our dedicated driveline specialist and has been an important part of the Widrick Truck & Diesel Service team for over three years. From rebuilding driveshafts to replacing U-joints, carrier bearing, slip yokes, and other driveline components, Tim handles every repair with precision and an unmatched attention to detail.

One of the things that sets Tim apart is his knowledge and preparation. He works hard to keep a wide selection of driveline parts and components in stock, allowing us to complete many repairs quickly and get our customers back on the road with minimal downtime.

On July 4, 1776, a group of Americans signed the Declaration of Independence, taking the first step toward building the nation we call home today. Nearly 250 years later, We’re reminded how fortunate we are to live in a country where hard work, service and community continue to matter.

At Widrick Truck & Diesel Service, We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our neighbors, local businesses, farmers, truck drivers, first responders, and everyone who helps keep our community moving. We also want to thank the men and women of our Armed Forces, past and present, whose sacrifices have protected the freedoms we celebrate this weekend.

Meet Dave Feisthamel!

Dave has been part of the Widrick Truck & Diesel Service team for the past four years. He spends most of his time tackling heavy duty mechanical repairs and custom fabrication projects to meet our customer needs.

In this photo, Dave is building a custom storage box for a fuel tank setting truck owned by one of our longtime customers. The box was designed to safely hold cylinder blocks and other heavy materials. It was built to support significant weight and features a steel mesh bottom that allows dirt and dust to fall through instead of collecting inside.

From RVs and buses to dump trucks, semis, and just about anything in between, Dave has the knowledge and experience to get the job done right. He is a dependable member of our team who takes pride in his work, and we appreciate the dedication he brings everyday to helping keep our customers on the road.
