Choose kindness...
Thanksgiving is stressful, but your choices still matter.
The holidays can bring out the best in us… and sometimes the most overwhelmed parts of us, too. Thanksgiving week is one of the busiest travel times of the year.
We’re juggling family plans, long drives, busy roads, tight schedules, and a whole lot of emotions.
But in the rush to get “there,” it’s easy to forget what really matters.
So here’s your gentle reminder:
Let go of the road rage.
Everyone is trying to get somewhere important. Everyone is tired, stressed, or doing their best. A few extra minutes of patience could save a life—including your own.
Remember, we’re all human.
That person driving slowly might be nervous or lost. The one who cut you off might be distracted by family stress. You never know what someone else is carrying. We've all made mistakes while driving, just let it go.
This season is about gratitude, connection, and making it safely to the people we care about.
Let’s choose kindness. Let’s choose patience.
Let’s choose to get everyone home.
If you do end up in a road rage incident, do not engage; drive to the nearest police station and/or call 911.
And as always, don’t drink and drive.
If you plan to indulge, plan a ride. Call a friend, designate a driver, or use a rideshare. A moment of convenience is never worth a lifetime of consequences.
