Blanton & Pleasants A TRUE old fashioned Country Store Step back in time to the country store that gives good service with everything -- including, but not limited to a SMILE.

The store is celebrating 82 years of operation with members of the sixth Pleasants' generation still providing its customers with old fashioned service. Blanton & Pleasants abounds with antiques, knick-knacks, and trivia from all six generations. In the basement you will find collectable and antique cars from 1916-1923. Electric trains, arrowheads, and old toys fill the aisles, which is a delightful contrast to the modern merchandise also sold to accommodate your home and everyday needs. It is a treat no one should go without experiencing. This unique family owned and operated enterprise boasts a grocery store, hardware department, glass shop, and still provides the are farmers with Southern States feed, fencing, and other farming needs. Visit the barber shop and have Spanky give you a hair cut. He has been cutting hair since 1960 and still enjoys every one. In short, Blanton & Pleasants is a part of America that is still providing service in spite of our culture's drift toward warehouse, help-yourself shopping. Treat yourself to an enjoyable shopping experience and say hi to June and Spanky (the owners). When you do, it will be a trip to rememeber!!
