This past weekend, Textron GSE was proud to support something truly special.

As part of the 2026 Special Olympics Airlift, athletes from across the country were given a once-in-a-lifetime journey – removing barriers so they could focus on competing, celebrating, and shining on the national stage. At St. Paul Downtown Airport (Holman Field, KSTP), our team supported the mission with 16 baggage and cargo tractors (including 14 TUG M1A and two TUG MT units) helping move aircraft, luggage, and materials as thousands of athletes and their families arrived in the Twin Cities.

Every movement on the ground helped make something bigger possible.

“Textron GSE is honored to partner with Textron Aviation to help hundreds of deserving athletes travel to and from the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, so they can enjoy the hard-earned opportunity to compete and shine,” said Tony LaCorte, Senior Director of Operations for Textron GSE.

In two weeks Textron GSE will be attending the 10th annual GHI America in Panama!

The conference will be from June 2nd through June 4th at the Panama Convention Center to bring the ground handling industry together from across the region, and we’re excited to be part of the conversation!
