I've not done this because I believe in free speech, but those who start any drama will be blocked immediately.
I started FREEDOM MARINE RECOVERY SERVICES Facebook to spread information, educational purposes, situational awareness, entertainment with Maritime industry posts, etc . For those who believe my site is for starting Drama , being inconsiderate, rude, obnoxious, belittling, or just plain ignorant, you will be blocked.
The first individual was just done.
Not gonna play those games.

Lake Huron was kicking up today, so we took the boat out of service for some maintenance.
Should be back in the water tomorrow.
Every 200 hrs , or once a year, it's recommended the valves be adjusted to factory spec for maximum performance, and fuel economy.

Great news for Saginaw Bay Boaters.

Great news: The Saginaw River Coast Guard station will resume FULL operations in 2027! This means faster search-and-rescue operations and less strain on local law enforcement’s resources.

We’ve been pushing for this for over a year. Thank you to every Michigander who spoke up and helped make this happen.

Just got in from assisting this 24 ft pontoon back in from 2 miles East of Port Sanilac Municipal Harbor . Same one as a couple days ago.
2 POB, with dead batteries again.
Having the owner put a charger on it overnight, and load testing in the morning.

38 Silverton Yacht, that just recently finished the Great loop. Ended up in our harbor with a couple of issues. This one being the worst. Lower engine knock. Wrist pin, rod bearing, ring? Whatever it is , it isn't good.
Headed out to winter layup in Toledo on one engine.

In preparation for it's winter layup, we were asked to get a sailboats engine started for moving. (Little Diesel)‽
It was found that the Glow plugs were not working due to a switch that also energizes the ignition. After putting a jumper on it was determined the Glow plugs were not working.
Found loose connections on both Glow plugs. After Tightening them up, she starts like a new boat.

But...................upon looking at the water flow the impeller was also found bad. Switched that out also. Good water flow after that repair.

Then................ Checking things over, the alternator belt looked loose, boy was it.
Now that's tightened up, and replaced with another belt.

Hopefully ready to move Monday!!!!

Tonight we were requested to assist a 25 foot Tri-toon, 2 pob 1 mile south of the harbor. Engine was not starting due to low battery voltage.
Tow into their slip, and quick troubleshooting, revealed an extremely loose battery connection. Tightened that, and Vroom!
