CCBMX wrapping up the Independence Day weekend with a bang, racing Sunday morning, 6 July. Signups are from 9-10 am, and it'll set you back $12 per bike or $7 for striders. Don't forget the protective gear - think long sleeves, pants, and a helmet that actually covers your noggin. It's gonna be hot, so shorts are cool, but only with knee pads and shin guards. If you're feeling lazy, give us a heads up at 775.220.7111. Oh, and if you pre-ordered shirts, they're ready for pickup at signups - that'll be $20 per shirt, please.

Hump day is here, which means it's time to get this practice party started on July 2nd. Itty bitty riders, you're up first on the big track from 6-6:30 pm. Then, the big bikes come out to play at 6:30 pm. Don't worry, strider riders, you've got your own track to keep on shreddin' after 6:30 pm. It's gonna cost you five bucks to join the fun, but trust us, it's worth it. Our practice nights are the perfect time to try us out, and we're offering a one-day free trial membership - just don't forget to bring that five-dollar bill. Wear your long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes, or you'll be sitting this one out. And, duh, don't forget your bike and helmet - we've got loaners, but they're limited, so don't get your hopes up. If you're lost, just give us a holler at 775.220.7111.

CCBMX State Race, Sunday, 29 June. Signups 9-10 am, don't dawdle or you'll be eating dust. Call/text 775.220.7111 if you're running behind or need GPS, don't be that guy. Fee $30/bike; $15/striders. Must be a full USABMX member, no slackers allowed. Even if you signed up Friday for Sunday you still need to check in, we won't remember you. Had riders from Oregon, Las Vegas and San Diego, try to keep up.

Starting off a possible 600 point weekend between RenoBattleborn BMX (GCQ/State, Saturday, 28 June), CCBMX Friday Nite Bikes, 27 June [and CCBMX State race Sunday, 29 June]. Our signups tonight are 6:30-7:30 pm, don't be late or you'll be eating dust; tonight costs are $12/bike and $7 for striders. You can still do the 1-day free trial membership plus racing costs (membership signups always going on). Big weekend for NV02. Friday 27 June, get ready for some Friday Nite Bikes shenanigans at Carson City BMX (signups 6:30-7:30 pm), Saturday 28 June is the Gold Cup Q/State race at Reno Battleborn (signups 8-10 am), and then it's back to Carson for Sunday morning, 29 June, for the State race (signups 9-10 am). CCBMX will put out separately info for Friday and Sunday.

You know the drill... practice at CCBMX, Wednesday 25 June, but don't expect it to be a snooze fest. Gate opens to striders 6 pm to 6:30 pm on the big track, and yes, they get the big track all to themselves for a whole 30 minutes. Big bikes on big track at 6:30 pm, and then the striders get kicked off to their own track. Practice fee is still a whopping $5 for all, and don't even think about sneaking on without a wristband. Oh, and check in first, we don't want any party crashers. Now for the super exciting safety reminder: wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, enclosed shoes, and don't forget that super stylish helmet. Track phone is still 775.220.7111. And on a totally unrelated note, Strider Nation is killing it. We had a whole dozen striders last Sunday morning, and let me tell you, trying to take a group photo with a dozen toddlers on bikes is basically impossible.
