After some thought, Mike came to the conclusion it would dove-tail nicely into his son's landscape business and they could turn it into a landscape supply store. John Deere Landscape had just closed their Villa Rica Operations and Mike thought there was a void to be filled. Mike asked his wife to contract the listing agent, and to see if she could negotiate a sale. They purchased the building along with 15 acres. Intentions were to sell to landscape companies; items such as irrigation material, bulk mulches, pine straw, rock, and such. Immediately upon opening Everything Outdoors, there was such an influx of old Southern State customers coming in asking if we were going to sell feed, fertilizer, and other farm supply items that used to be offered by So. In response to their needs, we got our feed mill up and running and our fertilizer plant going too. The feed mill was relatively an easy task, due to it being in fairly good condition. However, the fertilizer plant was more of a challenge, but was up and running for the spring season. In addition, to the bulk feed and fertilizer production, a Garden Nursery was opened and a Home Décor section was added inside the store. A bagging system was installed for our Bulk Feed and we "Custom Mix" cow feed, horse feed, goat feed, hog feed, rabbit and sweet feed from 1 ton to 50 pound bags. We offer Faith-Way feeds, Mid-South feeds, Tribute Horse feed, and we are the largest supplier of Showtime dog food in the West Georgia area. We offer a great selection of animal supplies. We offer Bonnie Plants in both vegetable and herbs. We offer a full service garden nursery with everything from annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, groundcovers, toe-ticklers, fruit trees and more. We also offer a variety of garden art, birdbaths, water fountains, pottery, and grow our own seasonal fresh flowers making beautiful bouquets. We have 2 fertilizer trucks and have the capability to spread from 1 acre to 1000 acres custom blend to suit your soil conditions. We offer colored mulch, play sand, soil conditioner, super-soil, egg rock, pea gravel, 57 stone, crush & run, 89 stone, and crimson red that begins to compact as soon as it is laid. Most of the above can be purchased by bag or in bulk. We offer pickup and delivery service. We are a dealer for Carolina Metal Buildings. We carry a full line of Insecticides, Pesticides, Herbicides, Fungicides, Fertilizers, and some organic items too! We sell vegetable seed as well as grass seed. We offer two types of pine-straw (slash and long leaf), as well as wheat straw. We have cattle gates, hay rings, and everything in between to operate a small farm to a large ranch. We are also a dealer of Tremron where we offer many kinds of block for purchase. We add items as our customer base expands and offer a wide variety of services.
