That ticking noise coming from your Chevrolet? It might not be “just a tick.” 👀

Lifter tick is a common issue we see, especially in Chevy engines with Active Fuel Management (AFM). What starts as a small ticking sound can quickly turn into bigger problems like misfires, loss of power, or even serious engine damage if ignored.
