Today we did a quick suspension install on this Toyota Supra to tighten up fitment and get rid of that factory wheel gap. Lowering springs may seem like a simple mod, but it makes a huge difference. Small suspension mod, massive visual payoff.

A few weeks ago, the E30 spent an afternoon telling us the truth on the dyno.

Tied down, throttle pinned, and the graph climbing just how we’d hoped, it finally gave us real numbers to match the way it feels from the driver’s seat. Race cars on rollers are our kind of data collection.

Sometimes “fixing a misfire” means starting from the bottom.

This 2011 WRX got more than a coil pack and a prayer—it left with a sleeved block on Darton dry sleeves, Mahle MS Powerpak pistons, and ACL Race bearings supporting the crank and rods. Seals driven in, hardware prepped with copper spray, head bolts torqued, intake manifold cleaned—by the time it fired up at the end, it wasn’t just “running” again, it had a completely new heartbeat.

We like when an engine bay looks as put-together as the work behind it.

Underneath the shine on this 2012 M3 is a brake fluid exchange, drivetrain inspections, and a full valve cover R&R replacement. Cleaning the pan, the covers, the hardware, and finishing with a wipe-down is just how we close the loop.

Throwback to last April at Putnam Park. 🏁

Sometimes the best “testing” is just driving for the fun of it, so we treated it like a field trip for car people. No lap records on the line, just learning what the cars felt like at speed and hanging out in the garages between sessions. Still one of our favorite kinds of days away from Midwest Autosports.

Just another “keep it happy” appointment.
The 2019 Cayenne S got its ABS sorted, parking brake actuators refreshed, brake fluid replaced, and oil changed while it was up on the rack. Nothing crazy, just the kind of routine service we like to knock out cleanly and send back on its way. Simple visit, but it buys a lot of worry-free miles for the owner.

Not every shop day needs a big transformation to win.
Pads, rotors, and brake fluid were all replaced on this Focus RS to bring the braking system back to a fresh baseline. It’s the kind of straightforward service that doesn’t need a before/after collage to matter. Just a simple job, done carefully, so the owner doesn’t have to think about it again for a while.

Back from a holiday break, and Jag is absolutely thrilled to be coming to the shop again. 🐾

Turns out a quiet couple of weeks at home wasn’t his favorite; now he’s been extra hyped to load up, hop out, and go straight into “shop supervisor” mode, following everyone around like he’s reopening the place himself. New year, fresh projects, same shop dog, and Midwest Autosports finally feels like itself again. 🫶
