Road tripped the old farm truck almost 300 miles this past weekend to street machine nationals in St Paul, all in the name of snagging a free tailgate. Top speed of about 55 mph so I stuck to highways and county roads, and it did not disappoint. Only casuality of the day was losing the rocker about 45 minutes into the trip down and then yet another fuel filter before coming back north. Ran good all day and while I wasn't recording mileage, I'm pretty sure I was getting high teens for fuel economy.

Been keeping it quiet for a minute but Revival Garage has a shop truck! It's a 69 C20 with the classic 350 and 4 speed, lived on a farm since 1993 but as of this week it's officially back on the roads. Has it's fair share of little issues but we'll work through them like always and I've got a vision for it before the season is over.

Seat revival time on a Lexus Lx470. Got OE replacement covers on order and will have updates on the project when they show up. While waiting, I'm gonna take the opportunity and deep clean the carpet since seats are out.

Headlight restoration is so satisfying. Went the extra mile and clear coated the lenses so they won't oxidize again.

Progress report; gen1 1uz-fe oil pan is about 5mm wider than the Supra subframe. Nothing serious, but then there's the issue of valve cover/brake booster clearance. Switching over to a Chase Bays booster eliminator, brake balance valve and 3/4" clutch master cylinder. Should allow for more clearance on the driver side without all the factory hard lines and proportion valve mounted on the strut tower besides having less clutter in the engine bay.
