FLATED co-founder is in Oklahoma City announcing the 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships at , the same whitewater course that will host the whitewater events during the 2028 Olympic Games.
So naturally he had to have a little fun.

Some things are bigger than gear. A family recently sent us these photos after their truck was rear-ended by a semi. The damage to the truck is hard to look at but the part that matters most is that everyone inside walked away.
We're incredibly grateful they're safe and our hearts go out to them as they deal with everything that comes after an accident like this.
When they reached out they also shared something we appreciated. Despite the severity of the crash their FLATED AirTopper stayed intact. Seeing it survive an impact like this is a powerful reminder of the engineering and durability we've worked so hard to build into every AirTopper.
We never want to see our products put to the test this way and we hope no one ever has to. We are so thankful this family is okay and we're honored they took the time to share their story with us.
