RESIDENTS: BE ADVISED THE DRAINAGE WORK IS STARTING TODAY ON REDWOOD. WE ARE TRYING TO ALLEVIATE THE WATER AND WINTER ICE BY TRYING TO DRAIN THE WATER DOWN TO THE CREEK AREA. PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR WORKERS AND VEHICLES. AFTER THIS IS COMPLETE THE PAVERS WILL BE SCHEDULED.

As a follow up to our earlier post about the water sample results posted on another page, we had a total coliform sample taken by a professional to confirm the absence of total coliform in the Country Manor West water system. The results, showing the absence of total coliform, are attached

We are aware of a Facebook post on another site containing a water quality result allegedly taken from a water tap in a home in Country Manor West. We receive our water from the Middlesex Township Municipal Authority and have passed along these results for the Authority to investigate. The Authority is not aware of any issues with its water supply but will let us know if it finds anything.

We do not know who took the water sample that was analyzed or the cleanliness of the sampling location or the cleanliness of the beaker or test tube that was used. In our experience (and this is the gross part), trace total coliform bacteria often results from unclean hands, an unclean sampling location, and/or an unclean beaker or test tube. Since we do not know if a certified laboratory took the sample that was analyzed and followed proper chain of custody protocols, we have no way of knowing whether the result posted on Facebook was accurate.
