Join us as we celebrate 250 years of America and FREEDOM along with the VA 250 Project! The car is a modern interpretation of the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. It set out to hit 250 mph in honor of America's 250th birthday. In typical Mopar fashion, it surpassed its goal and set a record! The car was built by Arrington Manufacturing and owner, Joey Arrington, and you can meet him at the show.
Joey is a noted NASCAR engine builder and the son of former NASCAR driver Buddy Arrington. Buddy was the last driver to run a Chrysler product in NASCAR. Even after Chrysler pulled out, Buddy ran as an independent until 1983 with his Chrysler Imperial. In addition to Joey and the car, this display will consist of a racing simulator where show attendees can get behind the wheel and race for prizes like t-shirts, hats and more!

The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, held at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds July 10-12, features over 3,000 vehicles from all the Chrysler brands. The show welcomes Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, DeSoto, AMC, Imperial and, of course, Chrysler. Shop the always sold out all Mopar swap meet and car corral with over 3,100 spaces. Meet celebrity guests like Joe Zolper or Garage Squad and more. Other special celebrations include: 60 Years of the Charger, 100 Years of the Imperial, 55 Years of the 1971 Duster 340, 50 Years of the Dodge Adult Toys program (1970s trucks and vans), 50 Years of the F-Body, 60 Years of the HEMI, and more!

It's finally time to announce this year's M2 diecast offering. It's a 1978 Dodge Power Wagon with the Macho Package to honor the 50th anniversary of the Dodge Adult Toys advertising campaign. Of course, we had to modify it a bit with the show logo with a '70s vibe.

The Power Wagon is ONLY available at the show in the Carlisle Store located inside Building T. There are NO pre-orders and no shipping (no online sales). If you want one, you must come to the show. Sales are limited to six per person.

If you're wondering who the guy is with the camera hanging out the window, that's Marc Rozman. He was not a household name, but he should've been. Marc was a car guy his entire life right in the Motor City. He was a dyno operator for Chrysler, contributor to Allpar, freelance photographer for almost every car show in metro Detroit and all around great guy.

It seemed like Marc knew everyone in the auto industry and every car person in Detroit. He either directly or indirectly introduced me to most of the people I know in the industry. That, in turn, played a major role in shaping the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. We all owe a lot to Marc.

He was also a huge diecast collector and sadly he passed away earlier this year. I wanted to honor Marc and, although he deserves much more, this seemed like a very fitting tribute to one of the greatest people I've ever known. As an added bonus, Marc's '69 Charger is on the event shirt.

Rest in peace, Marc and thank you for everything!!
