A touch over three years after initial tuning for a simple bolt-on combination, Marcos brought his 120,000+ mile FK8 back today to tune for a recent turbo upgrade (a favorite around here).

The stock ECU baseline (with all the listed parts installed) is represented by the dotted lines on the plot, 313hp / 341tq.

This is the limit of the stock fuel system while maintaining reasonable, safe lambda targets. There are numerous air charge limits in place for both more ethanol and cold intake temperatures (that will greatly increase fuel demand), leaving a fairly small "Goldilocks zone" for maximum output.

Sean's FL5 made pretty *huge* gains over the baseline test today (dotted lines)!...

If you ever needed a reason to check for boost leaks, here is a perfect excuse. A not-so-perfectly clamped coupler made for a condition where the system struggled to make 12psi from a 23psi target. 😄 Luckily it was an easy fix, and the setup continued on to make great power from one of our favorite street turbochargers: the razor-sharp standard Kuro.
