New Tax Alert: In 36 hours, Illinois' new Tire Tax will go into effect across the state

The New tax, called "Tire user Fee" (SB3943), is expected to bring in $14 million for the state. The legislation was sponsored and passed by Illinois Democrats and signed into law by JB Pritzker and will become law on July 1st. You will see an increase in prices starting Wednesday.

Democrats hope increased fees on driving will encourage Illinoisans to drive less ans switch to public transportation.

The new fee is in addition to the Illinois' long-standing state "Tire User Fee," which was previously amounted to $2.50 per tire.

The new tax will amount to $.50 per tire purchased, The amount of this tax is subject to future increases.

These sure are some good looking bikes. Ayden came all the way from Tennessee to pick up the beautiful Norden 901, Joseph came in looking to leave with a bike and loved to look of the Honda Rebel 500 with the custom seat, and last but not least Michael came in and pulled the trigger on the Z650 after eyeing it for quite some time.
