Time for our roadside sign to get a much needed upgrade! We brought out Sign Technologies located right here in Southampton county to get our measurements and help us design new panels with a few surprises for the public to see when it’s finally competed. Stay tuned for the updates!

It's that time of year! We will be hosting our two day drift event Halloween weekend with many family friendly activities on Halloween, followed by Open Drift all day on Sunday November 1st.

Come see our Corvette and talk racing with us at the National Night Out next Tuesday at the Southampton County Fairgrounds!

Please make plans to join us next Tuesday, October 6th from 5:00-8:00 for National Night Out at the Southampton Fairgrounds!

We will have a DJ, bounce houses, hot dogs, and more. Come out and visit with your Sheriff’s Office and many of our community partners.

Oh, and don’t forget POLICE CARS, FIRE TRUCKS, AMBULANCES, and MANY other things that light up and make cool noises! We can’t wait to see you there, and as always this is a 100% FREE EVENT for our Community!

Yesterday was quite the event! We were able to get our new TrackMate Timing system dialed in, as well as ran our first Bracket event! We want to congratulate Mert Harrell on taking home the win yesterday for the Bracket class and a special thank you to all the drivers that came out to help us make this debut work.

We also had Billy Martin and Billy Simmons giving ride alongs in their drift cars on the tri oval, and HumdrumImagery getting some amazing footage with his FPV drone. Can’t thank my staff and volunteers enough for helping keep this machine rolling every event, there’s no way we could do it without you.

We will see yall Saturday November 7th for our next dirt drag racing event!

Tomorrow we are RACING! We are doing track prep, and we even cut a return road along the barriers to get back to the start line faster. Also added our Timing Shack to control the Trackmate Timing System and handle all the brackets/computer work. We will see you all in less than 24 hours!

Let's get down and dirty this Saturday at the track with our Dirt Drag Racing! We are going to be debuting our timing setup on the track, which will feature Pre Stage and Staging lights, 60 Foot times, as well as Speeds tracked with your E/T!

HELMETS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES. We will be using the classes listed:

Street Legal
- Must have current tags and insurance
- Diesel or Pump Gas Only (No Race gas or E85)
- DOT tires only (no paddles or cuts)
- OEM Frame required (no tube sections)

Outlaw
- All Tires Allowed
- All Fuel Allowed
- Tube Chassis Allowed
- Rollcage required faster than 4.50

Bracket

Spectators are $20 per person with kids 12 and under FREE with paying adult! Tech Cards will be $40 per class, and we will be running Single Elimination with chip draw to start each class.

We want to personally thank everyone, spectator, driver, and staff alike, for coming out to today’s clinic.

Murphys Law had us firmly in its grasp down to the new grill equipment breaking out of the box. BUT we had a solid amount of drivers commit to the layout, and 94% of our driver count attempted the big course at least once before the end of the day. I want to thank my instructors Shawn Murphy and Dalton Bailey for assisting in the coaching aspect and a special shoutout to Copeland Tires and Service for supplying their own grill so we could cook lunch for the participants.

We will see you all at the next event at Southampton County’s Diamond in the Rough!

We will be running the Catch My Drift Round 1 layout for our short course tomorrow! It will be slightly modified to allow for a donut/figure 8 box past OZ2 so people can get the basics down before attempting the course.
