We’re helping promote two great hands-on workforce training opportunities through York County Community College for Maine residents looking to build real-world trade skills.

🔧 Maritime Pipefitting & Machine Mechanic
6-week accelerated training, 240 hours
Starts June 22, 2026
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Focused on repair, maintenance, pipefitting, and marine machine mechanic skills.

🔥 Welding
10-week accelerated training, 320 hours
Starts June 22, 2026
Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Covers SMAW, GTAW, intro GMAW, shop practices, blueprint and welding symbol interpretation, and basic inspection concepts.

✅ Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, proof of work authorization in the U.S., and be a Maine resident.

3️⃣ Coolant level (engines work harder in the heat)
