Did you know that the world's first speeding ticket was issued in 1902? The offender, a gentleman named Walter Arnold of East Peckham, Kent, was caught driving his horseless carriage at a blistering 8 mph in a 2 mph zone. He was fined 1 shilling. A policeman had to chase him down on a bicycle to issue the ticket!

Did you know that the first manual transmissions didn't have synchronized gears? That means you had to double clutch and match the engine speed perfectly to shift gears smoothly. It was like a delicate dance between your foot and the gear stick! Thankfully, synchronized transmissions came along in the 1920s, making gear changes a whole lot easier for drivers everywhere. 🕺💥
