Heads up boat owners. Just because the guys at the yard paint boats for a living, does not mean they do it the right way. This boat was painted a few weeks ago and this is what it looked like by the time it came back to the marina. Lots of paint flaked off due to improper application/prep.

I discovered this on a new clients boat. Along with the damage, there is severe corrosion happening here too.

Todays big project was a 30' Catalina that the owner thought was cleaned 4 month ago. Those giant blobs are huge oysters covered in muscles.

Last week I was able to install (replace) a new line cutter on a 59' Norhavn. Spurs manufacturing is really easy to work with and very quick to respond.

A couple before and after from this week's cleanings. It had a new paint job but due to the excessive growth, much of the paint came off with the barnacles. 😞
