A little dolphin magic right outside our office!

For more than a week now, we have been lucky enough to have a mom and her baby dolphin spending time in the canal right in front of our office.

Did you know that while baby dolphins are born knowing they need air, their moms help guide them to the surface during those first days and stay close as they learn to coordinate swimming and breathing? The bond between a mother and her calf is incredible to watch.

I spent the entire morning trying to capture the perfect video, but dolphins definitely don’t pose for the camera! They surface for just a second at a time, making them surprisingly difficult to film. Thankfully, I was able to catch this little one coming up for a breath while some of our excited customers watched from their boat.

If you’re picking up a boat from us, consider arriving a few minutes early. Pull up a chair by the water, relax, and keep your eyes on the canal, and you just might be treated to your own dolphin show before your adventure even begins!

Nature has a way of reminding us to slow down and enjoy the moment.

🎆Happy Fourth of July Weekend from all of us at Cape Coral Boat Rentals! 🚤

We had so much fun capturing these festive crews before they headed out to celebrate on the beautiful SWFL waters! From Stars and Stripes to big smiles, everyone was ready for a day filled with sunshine, boating. and making unforgettable memories with family and friends.

Walk the boardwalk at Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve, one of Cape Coral's most scenic nature preserves.
Splash Into Summer

Spend the afternoon at Sun Splash Family Waterpark with water slides, a lazy river, and splash areas for younger children.
Family Fun

Gator Mike's Family Fun Park offers go-karts, mini golf, zip lines, arcade games, and ropes courses, perfect for kids, teens, and adults.

👀A Few Tips for Our Boat Rental Customers
Arrive early because holiday traffic is much heavier than usual.
Expect busy waterways and practice extra patience around marinas and channels.
Pack plenty of water, sunscreen, and hats - the July heat can be intense.
Make dinner reservations in advance if you plan to eat out on the 4th, as waterfront restaurants fill up quickly.
