Detailing is hard work. The more I do it the more I realize many trade jobs really don’t hold a candle to it.
I did a 50k trail race earlier this year, 31.5 miles, took me 9 hours. It’s felt just like a sorta long day at work.
I would do it again and again over detailing all day if it was only about saving energy.
The mental load of attention to detail combine with moderate physical effort that’s non-stop is really just brutal day after day. Always wanting to do a good job, efficiently, and make a profit.
I’m not complaining because obviously I’ve chosen this, just consider this if you’re ever dissatisfied with someone’s multiple hours of effort on your car 😂
