Yesterday was one of my most unusual calls as a mechanic. Customer complains of strange noise after driving through wet concrete. The concrete was up against the cv axle, along with being jammed into many other places.

This isn't a win for us, listen to his real motives. He's also raising the yearly registration fee by $15 which will go to the State Police who raid the Motor Vehicle Fund regularly. They're just redirecting inspection money into more resources to fine us and generate more revenue.

But if this only applies to emissions I would agree with doing away with it because we don't need those inspections on modern vehicles. Safety inspections, on the other hand, are necessary. So many people neglect their vehicles it would be a significant risk to other drivers.
