The 1966 F250 is done. From the rusted out work truck that showed up to the powder coated upgraded machine you see in these two posts. We upgraded the suspension with polyurethane bushings and custom arched leaf springs from Atlas Suspensions. We added Air Lift airbags in the rear to help when the owner is towing. The tired engine was replaced with a new 6.0 crate engine from GM Performance with a Holley front drive kit and a 6L80E transmission. All controlled by Psi Conversion computer. The cooling for the engine is handled by a Champion Cooling Systems radiator. A K & N Filter air filter keeps the air clean with a custom intake. We added a Vintage Air, Inc. system to handle the cab temperatures. The main harness for the truck is from American Autowire
We repaired the rust issues in the cab and bed. In some cases creating panels that were not made. After the metal work was done our body department went to work getting any imperfections out. Then we laid down the two tone paint using PPG Refinish USA & Canada / Refinition PPG products. We upgraded the brakes to 4 wheel disc brakes. There is an Intense Kustum fuel cell at the rear of the frame instead of inside the cab. All new brake and fuel lines.
On the interior we did a three tone bench seat. The gauges are from Dakota Digital. New interior handles, trim and other interior pieces are from Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts . All reused trim have been polished The factory column was reused but we upgraded the internals and added a billet wheel. The carpet has been color matched to the lower color of the truck.
Everything on this truck is new so the owner and his family has years of enjoyment.
