***NO Soliciting without prior permission from an event organizer and NO folding chairs unless a medical condition requires you to use one. This promotes a anti-social behavior which works against what C&C stands for.***
• Canfield Cars & Coffee is a modern day exotic, sport and performance car club for the Greater Canfield (and surrounding cities) automotive enthusiasts. *Bi-weekly* meets will
be held Sunday's at Armando's Inc. auto dealership on Boardman Canfield Rd., directly next to Peaberry's Café & Bakery, from 10:00am-12:30pm. Although our meets will be held at this location, Canfield Cars & Coffee is independent of Armando's. We simply have an agreement with the dealership to host our events on their property.
• Types of Vehicles We're Looking for •
Keep in mind that this is an event for modern day exotic, sport & performance car enthusiasts. Not to deter classics, muscle cars, tuners, etc., as they are unique in their own right, but all of the current car events in this area are targeted toward that crowd. Therefore, this event was created to fill that void we felt was greatly missing for the modern day enthusiast.
• As for attendees, our members are mainly adult working professionals who drive a wide range of exotic/sports cars and SUVs. is of course allowed, we just ask that if you bring younger children, they are properly supervised and do not touch other individuals vehicles unless given permission by the owner.
• Regular bi-weekly meets at Armando’s Inc. are participation-only events. They are not typical "car shows" where you would normally have specified show car parking and spectator parking. We ask that if you attend, that you are also bringing a vehicle to show off. If we are hosting a meet for charity or some sort of special event, these rules will then be revised for that particular occasion.
• There will not be any rescheduling of these meets. If on the day of an event there is lightening or server rain (too much to stand outside and socialize in) that particular meet will not take place and there will not be another event until two weeks from that day, keeping the bi-weekly schedule intact.
• Try to bring a clean vehicle to the meets. If you come with a non presentable vehicle (excess dirt/mud), or with a non show automobile, we ask that you park away from the other vehicles in Peaberry's overflow lot.
• We ask that you do not start a conversation with "How much did this car cost you?" - "What do you do for a living?" or "May I sit in it?"
You can easily search online for the cost of a given vehicle and some people aren't comfortable letting everyone know what they do. Please attempt to introduce yourself and get to know someone before asking personal questions.
• Folding chairs are often a waste of space and promote anti-social behavior. So unless a seat is needed for medical or other reasons, we ask that you do not bring them. There is an outside patio and seating inside of Peaberry’s that may be used during our meets if you choose to purchase from them.
• There should be no burnouts or fast driving once on the location of our meets. We also ask that you do not break any traffic laws in the immediate vicinity of the meet.
• We want to keep everyone safe and prefer not to upset the police or local businesses and ruin a good thing. This is a friendly, mature group of people and we prefer to keep it that way.
• We ask that you please disposal of your trash in the trash bins outside, not on the ground.
• Please do not hand out flyers or business cards without prior consent from Cars & Coffee organizers.
