Today's agenda: wrestling with a 2015 Ram 2500's wiring and fuel issues... because someone has to adult around here 🤷
Some days are all about oil changes and pretending to be a responsible car owner, and others are all about getting down and dirty (literally) 😂

This ’88 Land Cruiser rolled in with one problem: the A/C was leaking right out of the compressor. 🥵

We swapped the compressor, evacuated the system, got it charged back up, and sent this old Toyota back out ready to keep cool.

Not a bad day at the shop when something this cool is sitting in the bay. 🔧

This week we had to put our own vehicle in the shop!
Been wondering why the diesel truck was sounding extra loud… now we know! Got it out back together and sounding as it should!
It never hurts to give your vehicles a check over every once in a while, even if you’re not experiencing any problems! If you’re not sure what to look for, we can help!

🤣 **ORGANIZED CHAOS… OR JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THE SHOP?** 🤷‍♀️

We’ve had a lot of big jobs rolling through the shop lately, and big projects mean **a LOT of parts, pieces, planning, and attention to detail.**

To some people, this might look like a pile of junk.

To us? **It’s organized chaos.** 🤘

Every part has a purpose. Every piece has a place. And yes… there really *is* a method to the madness! Even when it looks like there’s absolutely no way we’re getting all of this back together. 😅

From the **smallest repair to a full-blown overhaul**, we take the time to do the job right — because quality work isn't something we’re willing to compromise on.

**You bring it in broken. We’ll handle the madness.** 🔩🛠️

**A little old-school Jeep, a LOT of work. 🔧🛠️**

This **1981 Jeep Scrambler** came to Chambers Auto & Fab the way many classics do… **stone cold ☠.** 😅

We got to work bringing this Scrambler back to life and giving it some upgrades along the way:

🔧 Diagnosed the no-start condition and replaced the ignition module
🔧 Removed a previously installed body lift
🔧 Rebuilt the steering column with new bearings and bushings
🔧 Re-geared from **2.73 to 3.73** with limited-slip units front and rear
🔧 Installed rear **1-piece axle shafts and bearings**
🔧 Repaired rusting in the bed

From getting it to **start** to getting it to **steer, put power to the ground, and stay together**, this old Scrambler got quite the transformation.

And with only **27,792 Jeep Scramblers ever produced**, we're always happy to see one getting the attention it deserves. 👀🔥

Another classic back on the road and ready for its next chapter!
